This month, we have the opportunity to see the Gospel through the Holy Spirit-inspired pen of John Mark, said to be the interpreter for the Apostle Peter and recorded in Acts as the cousin of Barnabas that accompanied he and Paul on the first missionary journey.

Mark’s is the shortest Gospel account, focusing on the revealing of Jesus’ role as the Messiah, along with themes of the Kingdom of God and discipleship.
